Well, I sat down to read the assigned reading for my Aesthetic class but Platonic-Aristotle theory is making me feel bored. So, I just closed it and started observing my thoughts. Suddenly, I just felt like updating my blog and here I come, jotting down my current thoughts.
What not comes up in my mind when I say it is my final semester and I know most of my friends are having the similar feeling. I don't know how to describe it, mixture of excitements and fear, but I remember the way Johnas, the protagonist, in The Giver uses word "apprehensive' to describe his coming of age.
Classes have started just few days ago and most of our college friends have came back to university after having great winter vacation. I see them hugging their friends, welcoming each other, sharing about their winter break experiences and then talking about their current courses. Actually what not have happened in this short winter break. For example, I have seen some of my collage mates in in Africa, some in Hong Kong, some in Bhutan, Some in US, some in Australia .... Also, some got engaged and some got married. Yet, we all are back to university.
Now we are getting busier. Besides our daily academic schedule, we have other extra curricular activities coming up and also, being final year student, we have additional funfilled events such as spirit week, sleepover night and culture exchange program. I am really looking forward to making most out of all the events and leave the university with all the best of best memories captured in my <3.
